Introduction

Your Right to Delete Your Data

At BoraSpace, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your account and associated data from our platform.

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to certain legal exceptions outlined below.

What Data Can Be Deleted

  • When you request account deletion, we will permanently remove the following data from our systems:

Account Information

  • Your full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Profile photo and other profile information
  • Account credentials and authentication data

Usage Data

  • App activity logs
  • Feature usage statistics
  • Device information

Communication Data

  • In-app messages (encrypted chat history)
  • Appointment history and booking records
  • Notifications and preferences

Other Data

  • User preferences and settings
  • Search history
  • Any other personal information associated with your account

How to Request Deletion

  • We provide two ways for you to request account and data deletion, ensuring easy access.

Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

Steps to delete your account from within the app:

  • Open the BoraSpace mobile application
  • Navigate to Settings
  • Go to Privacy
  • Tap on the Delete button
  • Read the information about what will be deleted
  • Confirm the deletion request

Option 2: Email Request

You can request deletion by emailing us directly:

  • Send an email to: info@mulingalabs.com
  • Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  • Include your registered email address
  • Include your full name (for verification purposes)
  • Optionally, include your phone number if you used it to register
  • We will respond within 48 hours to confirm receipt and begin the deletion process

Verification Process

  • To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion requests, we verify your identity before processing any deletion request.

Verification Methods

  • We may use one or more of the following methods to verify your identity:
  • Email verification: We may send a verification code to your registered email address

Deletion Timeline

For Normal Users

  • For regular users, account deletion happens immediately upon confirmation:
  • Your account and all associated data will be deleted immediately
  • You will be automatically logged out of the system
  • All your personal information will be permanently removed from our systems

For Therapists

  • For therapists, data deletion requires additional verification and confirmation:
  • Your deletion request will be reviewed by our team
  • We will verify your identity and confirm the deletion request
  • Once verification and confirmation are complete, your data will be deleted
  • You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion process is completed

Note

  • Some data may be retained longer if required by law (see "Data Retention Exceptions" section below).

What Happens After Deletion

Immediate Effects

  • Once your account deletion is processed:
  • You will no longer be able to log in to your account
  • All your appointments will be cancelled (we recommend canceling active appointments before deletion)
  • You will lose access to your chat history and previous conversations
  • Your profile will no longer be visible to therapists or other users
  • You will stop receiving all communications from BoraSpace

Recreating an Account

  • You can create a new account at any time using the same or different email address. However, your previous data will not be restored.

Data Retention Exceptions

  • While we strive to delete all your data upon request, certain information may be retained for legal, regulatory, or security purposes as required by law.

Legal Requirements

  • We may retain certain data if required by:
  • Court orders or legal proceedings
  • Regulatory requirements (e.g., healthcare regulations)
  • Tax and accounting laws
  • Fraud prevention and security obligations

Anonymized Data

  • We may retain anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you personally. This data is used for:
  • Analytics and app improvement
  • Statistical reporting
  • Service optimization

Backup Systems

  • Data in backup systems may take up to 90 days to be fully purged as backups are rotated. However, this data is not accessible for normal operations.

Transparency

  • If we must retain any of your data, we will inform you of what is being retained and why, in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
